Mayslake Ministries is commited to offering Sacred Time and Sacred Space to all those who seek a quiet time away from the hectic pace of life. We offer a wide variety of scheduled retreats in assorted locations throughout the Chicago area for Catholics and Christians of all denominations.

WHAT IS A RETREAT?

A retreat is a time away from the busy routine of daily activities in order to spend prayerful time in quiet reflection. We offer several types of retreat experiences: silent, guided, and spoken (discussion).

Who are retreats for?
Mayslake Ministries offers retreats for women, m en, medical professionals , veterans, travelers and caregivers

People just like you, who desire to set aside some quiet time with God. In this sacred, searching time, one is able to reflect on questions such as:

Where is my life going?
Am I walking in God's will for me?
What do I need to lay at the foot of the Cross?
Do I fully realize God's presence is with me during these times I am going through now?
Am I living in daily awareness of my God's incredible love for me?
How can I allow this time away to bring my Spirit back to life so that I am able to live each day with gratitude and peace?
Can I hear the voice of God who speaks in silence

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF participants?

While it is our hope that each retreatant will want to participate in the prepared spiritual talks, prayer services and group discussions, we understand that this is your time away. You are free to spend your retreat time as you desire.
