NEWS HEADLINE:

Mayslake Ministries to partner with Triton College on White House Interfaith Project.

The goal of this project is to gain a greater understanding of the needs and challenges that our veterans experience when they return home from war.

Mayslake Ministries is committed to working with the academic community of Triton College to provide faith based programs and retreats for our military men and women.

Triton College president, Dr. Patricia Granados said, “ it is important to help veterans return to their families and communities with the support they need to transition back to civilian life.”

Men's Spirituality

Mayslake Ministries is committed to offering Sacred Time and Sacred Space to all who seek to get away from the hectic pace and demands of everyday life.  Time spent nurturing one's spritual life is time well spent, as it invites us to nurture the peace within and hear the voice of God in the silence of our hearts.

We offer men's weekend silent retreats three times each year, as well as a year-long, 5-part men's spirituality series entitled "Pathway to Light."

Mayslake Ministries presents retreats and formation events for men throughout the year. Listed here are our current offerings.

Silent Retreats for men

This type of retreat offers the participant an entire weekend filled with time for quiet reflection and prayer. Talking is kept to an absolute minimum. Throughout the weekend, four retreat talks and prayer services are offered as a means of helping participants reflect upon their spiritual journey with Christ. Opportunities for individual spiritual direction are also available.
