Mayslake Ministries is a leader in the field of Spiritual Direction, with nineteen certified spiritual directors on staff, each skilled in a wide variety of areas including: grief, addiction, adoption and infertility, elder issues, military, oncology issues, and women’s and men’s spirituality. We also have a licensed Pastoral Counselor and a Psychotherapist on staff.

As recipient of this year's Custos Award, Mike Hobbs offered this explanation as to why he believes in the mission of Mayslake Ministries: My support of Mayslake Ministries grew out of my interest in supporting an organization that offered really good spiritual direction.
