Join us for a wonderful day as we travel to South Bend, IN where we will visit the beautiful campus of Notre Dame University. There we will take a guided two mile walking tour of the campus. Stops include the Basilica and Crypt, the Grotto, The Main Building with the Golden Dome, the Log Chapel and Touchdown Jesus. Following our tour we will dine at the Tippecanoe Restaurant, the former Studebaker Mansion. This is a walking tour around campus. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes.

Experience the Passion of Christ like never before. The Shrine of Christ’s Passion is an interactive winding pathway that begins with the Last Supper and Garden of Gethsemane and progresses through the Passion of Christ as depicted in the Stations of the Cross. 40 life size bronze statues, add to the experience. After exiting the tomb, participants are led down a path where they will find Jesus meeting Mary Magdalene and experience His glorious Ascension to heaven. Choose a guided tour or walk the grounds at your own pace. Also on the grounds are a Marian Wayside Shrine, the Sanctity of Life Shrine and the Our Lady of the New Millennium statue. The walk is approximately ½ mile. Golf carts with guides are available to those who have difficulty walking. If you will need assistance let us know at the time of registration. We will also visit St. John the Evangelist Church and go to Tiebel’s Restaurant for lunch.

God’s abundant creation is on display at the Chicago Botanic Garden, a true oasis nestle in the northern suburbs of Chicago. Join us for a day-long visit with plenty of time to explore and spend time with God. We will take a narrated tram tour for an overview of all areas of the garden and have plenty of time on our own to explore the Japanese Gardens, English walled garden, Fruit & Vegetable Garden and Lakeside Gardens, to name just a few. Lunch can be purchased on your own at the Garden Café. If you choose to bring your own, you are welcome to enjoy it at the picnic area just outside the park entrance.

The National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows is a 200 acre complex of unique architecture, imaginative landscaping and known as one of the largest outdoor shrines in North America. Begin with an orientation to the grounds including a video presentation about the Shrine - a ministry of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. Take a guided tour of the scenic grounds especially lovely in May, the month of Mary. The tour highlights: morning mass at the Church of Our Lady of the Snows, Lourdes Grotto (a replica of Lourdes Grotto in France), the chapel, the Way of the Cross, the Angelus bells, the beautiful gardens blooming with spring flora and serene reflecting pools and the Shrine Gift Shop. Other highlights include the Missouri Botanical Gardens, the Cathedral Basilica and its stunning mosaic work, and other St. Louis attractions.

Day One | Theme: Majesty
Explore God’s majesty today as we journey to the port city of Manitowoc, WI. Board the SS Badger Car Ferry for a 4 hour cruise across majestic Lake Michigan to Ludington, MI. Upon docking in Ludington, MI we’ll check in to the Holiday Inn Express for the evening. (Lunch/Dinner incl)
Day Two| Theme: Serendipity
Experience God’s delights this day as we make many joyful stops. The first stop is to the Mac Woods Dune Rides over long dunes along the vast Lake Michigan shoreline. Next witness God’s beauty and creativity as we travel through the Frederik Meijer Sculpture Gardens on a narrated tram tour. Lodging and dinner for the night will be at the Holiday Inn in Grand Haven. Dinner will be followed by a visit to the beach to watch the sunset and then off to visit the beautiful musical fountain in Grand Haven for a 20 minute water, light and music show which will conclude our serendipitous day. (Breakfast/Dinner incl)
Day Three | Theme: Abundance
Return to a simple time and share in God’s abundance as we venture to some natural delights. You’ll be able to pick your fill at DeGrandchamps Blueberry Farm in South Haven. The blueberries are easy to pick as they grow on bushes-no bending or reaching necessary. The next stop is the Tree-Mendous Fruit Farm in Eau Claire, MI for a picnic buffet lunch in a serene valley. We’ll be treated to a Folkswagon narrated tour of this 600 acre working farm. Fresh produce will be available for purchase.
